It may be worth doing a fluid flush on the transmission. It isn't in the service schedule but recommended by the OEM. Kev

I stand corrected if I'm wrong but not heard about this resetting the Gearbox by holding the accelerator down. I thought it had to be done using a suitable plug in device, normally done as part of the Gearbox flush. I had this done,, as have many others, and the Gearbox was reset so that it basically re- learns your driving style. 2010 RRS, TDV8

The gearbox reset is something which was mentioned on a number of occasions on the FFRR forum!
