I did forget to mention that, didn't I - you need to have decent dexterity when you're trying to use the crimper in tight quarters! It comes with practice, although they aren't cheap things to practice on.. All sorted! In the end I asked the same rent a ramp garage to remake the connections on the rear shocks and MOT it at the same time. Passed with no advisories and the 'Adaptive suspension fault' has cleared with a now fantastically smooth ride from the new shocks. All done for £174. Changed the side steps too for new OEM replacements. Only other job I might do now is to replace the torque convertor, but I'm being picky now really
