I just couldn’t get them in and I didn’t fancy bending them. I tried the body mounts out to but no luck. Have you worked out how your going to bleed the system? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

The issue I had was the mounting point, the gap between body and chassis was to small and no amount of manoeuvring would make them fit. Even taking the pipes out of the block fitting didn’t help.

With regards to bleeding, there is a procedure to follow but I ran it for a while and then bled the system later. Nearly all the air was gone but there was still some in the units. The home made kit sorted it out but I think you’d get away with it with a progressive decent drive. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Did you have to lift the body? The gap looks a lot bigger than what I had available. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Out of interest (he says, hoping never to have to do a job like this) - how involved is lifting the body (esp. just a "bit" like that)? Is it a "four bolts and it's done" kind of job or is it a "four bolts and 12987123 electrical connectors" job?

Obviously total removal would mean disconnecting a lot of wiring, but is there a decent amount of play in the wiring for a small lift?

Oh and Daxmatt, do you own a Dax Cobra/Rush, or is the name just a coincidence? Smile 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Its just a case of the body mount bolts on the drivers side, then jack it up slightly.
Have a dax rush, not used it this year yet though Sad
