The system can be bypassed successfully on 2.7 and 3.0 models

Thanks for the reply Disco Mikey, how do you bypass it and is there a kit or something to do it? Can it be done without lifting the body up?

2 ways, either bypass the system but leave the hydraulics in place, or do it properly and replace the bars with standard non hydraulic parts |

Either of them will allow CCF editing nor the required firmware updates... |

So does that mean it will have to go on the dealers diagnostics after the repair? |

The dealers cannot alter the CCF or upload the "wrong" firmware to the car |

I had a leaking Ace system and until I was able to have the rear sway bar replaced I just bought some of the fluid from the dealer and then bought Lucas Power steering leak stop or something like that and used it in my ace system. The leak stopped and lads, before you all go flaming me for putting foreign fluids in the ACE system, let me tell you that this was a recommendation found on other Land Rover forums and it really worked. The warning disappeared, the leak stopped and all went back to normal. A few months later I replaced the Rear sway bar (not cheap at all) and everything is working as it should.

That's very useful to know. Please post what particular fluid you used. Kev
