Glad I am not alone....Hopefully my wanted advert might cause some to check their vehicles to see if they have spare floor brackets they might be prepared to part with.

Excuse me please if I’m being a mong!! How does it stay in place without the lower brackets? There is nothing else to support it unless I’m missing more than I thought. Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE

I have the top brackets. There are tabs that locate against the plastic either side of bootspace to stop it falling back ...it's a snug fit. Not likely to tilt baxk due to angle albeit I have used some old karabiners to restrict lower edge bottom bits popping back.

I’ve got them fitted. Do you want me to take measurements?

so its actually held in place by the tabs that go behind the seats when the seats are upright - the upper arms stop the guard top rotating forward and the frame stops it rotating backward - I think the only thing those brackets really do is stop the dog guard moving when the seats are down but the full height guard effectively stops you using the load area with the seats down anyway. 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers) 2000 D2 TD5 - definitely mine 2005 D3 V8 Metalian Camper trailer for adventures |

Thanks for the replies gents, I’ve just been out and had a look. It doesn’t fit properly as it’s not the right one.. |

Thanks for the offer but as you say it’s a bit far! I just checked and you are right it’s Freelander 2. I get rid in time, meanwhile I’ve got my eye on another one, this time I’ll buy the right one.. |

Steve, Thanks for replying. I would be most grateful if you could take various measurements and update me...Either on this thread or by PM. Genuinely appreciated ![]() |
