Thanks Col When I worked on my rear brakes which is where those pins go on my 2010 RRS/SC petrol, I could have put those pins any way I wanted and everything still worked fine which is why I started this thread in the first place. Judging from previous posts I'm getting the impression that non SC Rovers don't have the huge Brembos in the front and use roughly the same calipers with these same slider pins. Is this the case? |

Not sure about pre-facelift but all facelift variants with Standard Front Brakes used Pin Kit LR020489 (With Bush). Brembo's were a option on all models I believe but standard on the S/C. With the Rears there were different pins used but basically VIN No. AA000001 - BA716231 used Pin Kit. LR017032 (Non Bushed) VIN No. BA716232 on used LR020489 (Bushed). There are a couple of other kits listed (LR015589) now superseded to LR017032 & SMN500040 just to complicate the issue which seem to also fit between the first VIN. range. AA257941 - BA716231.
