So after a drive home today I've checked the oil level and I have to admit it's low (and no I didn't look for a dip stick). While reading service manual, about electronic dip stick, I've stumbled across a "special", extra informative procedure. Annoyingly it doesn't work, which would be nice for tomorrows refill. So could you for the sake of general knowlegde go and check if you'll manage to open oil menu in service mode

Just to let you know if you haven't read about it yet..

From the manual;
The actual reading on the dash is only an indication of the top 1.5 litres,
there is 5.9 litres (3.0 Diesel) in total so when this is indicating as on the low level,
the max you should need to top up with is 1.5 litres..

Unless it tells you how much to put in,
I would just top it up in by 0.5 litre and then increments of 0.5 litres and see where its goes to..

I run mine between OK and full..never over fill it..I am sure you know that.. ===========================================
