Adaptive Dynamic struts have 2 small wires coming out the middle of the strut, right at the top |

If you've got the dynamic programme on Terrain Response (the double-S to the left of the normal setting on the dial/switch) then you have adaptive dampers. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

That's great, thanks guys. I've just nipped out to the car and I can confirm that there is no 'SS' to the left of the normal setting on the terrain response ie. I have standard dampers.

I probably didn't help the case by saying that I have active roll control in my original post. I just wasn't sure that if I had ARC, this may have meant that I automatically had the active dampers. Now I know that this is definitely not the case Kev

It would be worth checking the top of a damper too, just to be absolutely sure, if you're planning on buying replacements. Any wires going means you do have active dampers fitted. No wires (just the air pipe) means you don't. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
