There's a sensor or pressure switch or something that stops you opening the glass when the tailgate is open. Work out how that operates and check that out just in case its thinking the tailgate is constantly open. |

if you press the lock and unlock buttons on the dash together for 5 seconds that open the main tail gate.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. My brother was replacing an EGR valve today ( well fiddly but a successs) and we had the battery off. Tailglass now working. Open tailgate and now tailglass not working. Disconnect battery and reconnect and working again.....so pointing to a sensor on the tailgate, I will investigate 2007 RRS 2.7 HSE (Current)

You do realise the software stops you opening them at the same time. |

Yes sorry I wasn’t clear, I meant open and close tailgate and then tailglass will not work.... 2007 RRS 2.7 HSE (Current)
