Rotating wheels front to back

Got a puncture, screw in my front offside tyre, fitted full size spare yesterday & got it repaired today no problems, when I was refitting I thought I would rotate the wheels front to rear & vice versa, now it seems after setting & checking the pressures, the Tpms seems to show/know the rear wheel is on the front & vice versa? I assume you must have to recalibrate the valve sensors?

This is a bit of a pain as although all my tyres seem to be wearing evenly, all 6mm across all 4 tyres after 10k, the 2 fronts have slight feathering on the outer edges so this is the reason I was going to rotate them.

Has anyone had the same issue? If so can you reset the system without paying the dealer to do it? I’ve checked the handbook & there is no resetting procedure/button mentioned.

It’s a l494 ab my17.5

Cheers

Malc

IIRC in the owner’s manual you need to take it for a 15 minute drive to let the sensors pick up the new location of the wheels 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Exactly what I do when changing from winter to summer tyres, the car soon sorts itself out.

As Tim says,,,,you can fit the wheels anywhere on the sport & it will pick the signal up after a drive.Ive fitted loads & when I take them off they never all go back on the same corner & ive never had a problem with them,,Infact I’ve just swapped my sport & I kept my wheels which the dealer swapped over for me & all the sensors connected by the time I’d driven out of the workshop. Andy.
