Has anyone managed this on a 3.0 2010 car? Have a car in tomorrow with the view to carrying this out

Have done plenty of 2.7's, fairly popular due to the relative expense involved when there is a pipework/hydraulic actuator problem.
Removing the system and fitting standard ARB's in place is a cheaper and much more reliable

On this car in question, the ARC pumped has failed, contaminated the system and both bars are leaking, and requiring an estimated £7k repair

However, both LR and Autologic both tell me its not possible on a 3.0 2010-2012 car...

Cant help but when my rear ARB with Dynamic response leaked all its oil out i had to have a whole new rear ARB. I believe its a partial body lift on the rear to remove due to the space involved. Total cost was around £2.5k with genuine parts and Labour but LR Warranty picked up the tab  2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

On the later ones, dynamic response will be tied in to the Terrain Response system to allow the Dynamic road program. On the earlier ones, dynamic response was stand alone.

I can see that removing DR whilst keeping TR happy would be very tricky. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

TR remains active, as do all the ABS/DSC functions

Hardware was relatively easy

Software took a bit of head scratching, but essentially the same process as the 2.7

Just need a 3.6 to try it on now, but no reason to assume it won't work, other than finding the correct length of drive belt

As the cars age, and decrease in value, cheaper repairs are always welcome

It'll ruin some TDV8s, sadly. But then if someone wants to do cheap fixes it's probably a shed already, or rapidly headed that way.  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I was going to attempt my TDV8 without transferring all the ARC stuff over, but thought I had best keep it. The D3 has a lot more weight/height to control, so its probably a good idea to keep it

My mechanic and I are currently in the process of "de-bricking" my 2011 Disco 4 with a snapped crank. We are achieving this by installing the 3.6 TDV8 from a RRS donor.

Everything is installed and ready to go! But the gearbox keeps going into limp because it isn't getting a signal from the Active Roll Control system. Its not getting a signal... because its not there!

Does anyone know how to electronically bypass this? Or am I stuck with pulling the body again to install the gear from the donor?

Hey there! I just manage my TDV8 in the Discovery 3 running. All i want to change now are the softwarebits for the ARC / Dynamic Response, where you said it could be made easily on the 2.7.

What do i need to program? Just put the ARC to "not fitted"?

Would help a lot to get rid of those darn warning lights.
