Is the thing in the centre of the roof lining a light?

I've looked everywhere and cannott work out what the tinted perspex item in the centre of the headlining is or what it does,It looks like some kind of interior light but never lights up "HELP" Many thanks

Hi thanks yes screens in headrests and some kind of remote in rear centre arm rest not tried any of it yet! so no light in there then?

Have you a photo of it. Some cars were available with Whitefire technology wireless headphones and there was a large square transmitter for that 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think you will find it's also part of the Alarm Sensor Interior Scan, even if you don't have the wireless headphones etc.

If you have headphones it will also have a shiny black part in the middle, not just ivory colour.

Hi ,just looked mine looks like that but has a smoked shiny perspex light thing across the middle of it with a shiny surround?just got the second pic,yes thats it..

In that case then if you don't have factory rear screen entertainment fitted, I think you have the dual view screen fitted, there should be a switch by the rotary menu control knob which has a icon on it of what appears to be two rectangle boxes on it with numbers 1 & 2 in them, if not it will just say setup on the switch. If you have the screen you should also have at least one set of headphones.

Sorry thought I'd said it has screens in the backs of the headrests and a remote stored in the rear armrest but can't find any headphones anywhere..

Maybe the previous owner sold them off ? It seems quite common to keep "loose" items back when a car is traded in. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
