Potentially a fuel pump issue, potentially a turbo issue, hopefully something a bit less drastic like battery/alternator

I got it towed to my local 4 x 4 lad, I'll see what diagnostics show up on Monday.

My money is on turbo failure if it happened under load, especially after the EGR's have been blanked that recently...

I had exactly the same thing happen to me this time last year. Sorry to report that in that occasion my SDV6 had killed both turbos. Really hope it isn't that for you as it was a substantial bill, eg circa 4k (did belts same time). |

What warranty company, what is the current mileage, and how long ago did you buy the car? |

Everything crossed for you, but I have very little faith in warranties sold with used cars. I'd almost guarantee any failures are put down to "fair wear and tear"
