If you have checked all the connections and they are sound, for the sake of 25 quid something like this might be worth a shot.

Surely just because it's clicking doesn't necessarily mean it's working and are the mirrors not linked to the seat memory position in some way?

If all wiring/connections etc. are sound I guess the options are limited and may have to try either substituting memory module or switch pack.
