Dash trim clips

After fitting a stereo upgrade i lost 2 of the clips that hold the trim around the head unit, looking online the only stockist seems to be Powerfull uk, but at £12 for 4? seems a bit expensive, has anyone actually priced these clips from LR ? thanks in advance.

They are about £2.00 each from L/R FYC500040 some of them do tend to fly off never to be seen again. Laughing

Cheers

I lost a couple which pinged off as you have experienced, when I replaced the radio. I found both of them quite easily as they had dropped down to where the centre console trim meets the carpet in the footwells. If you gently ease the plastic away from the carpet, you may be lucky and see them. Worth a try before you stump up the ridiculous price that LR or Powerful UK want for this tiny little piece of spring steel.

I managed to retrieve some using a magnetic flexible shaft pickup tool, just poked it in various inaccessible places to see if it picked any up.

I used a few of them . They are not the correct shape on the ends, RR ones are flat where these are like bent round. It will result in the trim piece not going fully back.
