Can you also get their diagnosis in writing with a signature. That way off fails outside of your warranty, you can pass the blame back to them. Not sure how it would stand legally but it’s still another piece of ammunition. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

The diff problem on reflection, should not apply to your vehicle as it only affected earlier models.

I wouldn't rule out the brakes, especially if you've had them replaced recently or if they were aftermarket. If a disk is warped and the pads drag on the high point, it can cause a vibration which gets worse when you brake but can disappear at speed. Ive had this issue a number of times with cheap disks. Mintex being terrible for it. If you have a DTI you can check for run out quite quickly and easily. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
