Both drain holes were plugged with crap and not draining properly.

Have now cleaned out and they drain freely which must help.

Drying out foot well as we speak and last time i started it and turned it off.... No issue

So i am crossing everything its going to be OK.

If after everything i spent on a new battery i dont mind.

Many thanks for the assistance hopefully others might see this if they have similar Thumbs Up

I hope it just takes a good drying to sort. Keep an eye on the sunroof drains as I know a lot of posts on here comment on replacing them. I get the impression that they can deteriorate quite rapidly. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Where is the exact location of the BCM ? is it behind the fuse board under the glove box.

I actually don’t know but have seen threads intimating that is in that area or possibly the main fuse box. I’ve also read that an issue with the instrument cluster can give similar symptoms as the low speed can bus is connected to it. As you mentioned the drivers footwell being damp, it may be worth a check in that area. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Well looks like I dodged a bullet.

Been drying the interior until now and she is now back to normal.

My bad for saying drivers side I meant passenger.

Many thanks for helping Thumbs Up

Passenger footwell makes sense then. Water in the fuse box/BCM then. Keep checking after heavy rain and keeping the sunroof drains clear should cure it for good.

Just keep it in the back of your mind that I’ve read a lot of people change out the drain pipes so there is probably a reason why. If they appear clear but you still get a wetness, you may need to change in the future.

I have had the same problem. Central locking having a mind of its own, various faults flashing up on the dash display.
On the radio display `Vehicle Fault system shutting down` was also shown before the satnav screen and radio shut down.
Everything would clear and reset only to happen a short while later.
I found a guy trading as TOTALTRONICS.COM in Rugby who sorted the problem for me. He offers a while you wait service if you pre book and will also remove the instrument cluster if you take the car to him.
