Scotland 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Just do it in one hit. In theory you can leave the stick in situ and start and stop any number of times but mine recommended you did not (contrary to a post above). One hit install worked fine for me.

Yes, that was my experience. May get another wee pause but 5% per 8 to 10 mins about right.

I've just updated mine with the stick ordered from Landrover site and hand the same problem, how did you end up fixing the problem as the stick I have is the latest version 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography
2013 Grey Black Edition SDV6 (lasted a while but gone now)
2005 Grey Supercharged Sport (gone but never forgotten)

Sadly the only way for me to fix it was to update it with a newer version (2018), which in your case probably isn't possible.

Are you having the exact same problem as me ? as in after you type in a postcode it comes up with a error ? or is the satnav not letting you type a postcode in at all ( letters or numbers greyed out) ?, if its the later then i imagine as some one has mentioned before in this post that the country is set wrong.

Also did you get any errors or stoppages while updating ?

I would also suggest contacting range rover and explain the problem as you bought it from an authorized site.

The postcode is greyed out but set to GBR!

There is also no map showing on the screen.

I have contacted the suppliers just waiting for an answer. 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography

Sounds like yours got more forked than mine !

I was looking into modifying the current update to be able to run twice, but after a bit of time trying to find out how it detected the version on the unit i kind of gave up.

From what i gaverd all it looks like its doing is copying the files over, so does make me wonder what the data looks like on the HDD and if you can directly place the files on there bypassing the USB interface.

I did read on the Disco forum that its an IDE hard drive inside these units.
