You think that's bad... a work syndicate I was in several jobs ago lost me a share of £18m. The little Censored who entered the numbers every week decided he would change them without conferring with anyone. 3 weeks later, an "old" set of our numbers came up... all 6 of them.

The aforementioned Censored wasn't the most popular Censored on the block, that's for sure Wink Syndicate broke up in fact and nobody else had the motivation to start another one. This was about 8 years ago I suppose but it does still sting to think about it...

It is hurting me thinking about it..
if you don't mind me asking, what was the pot that week, and how much would you have been in for?

You should of made the kid sign an IOU and worked as Bi**h for the rest of his life to pay you back.. at the minimum..

It was roughly an £18m jackpot, which it turns out was claimed by one ticket. The syndicate was 8 people, so we would have scored well over £2m each. I don't think any of us spoke to that bloke again, quite literally...

We wondered that, but if he did win it he didn't leave work... given he was a paper pusher, you'd have thought he would have done.
