Front lower arms, should I go for genuine or aftermarket??

Hello all.
I can get two genuine front lower arms for a smidge above £300.
Is it worth going for aftermarket??.
I used aftermarket on my old sc, they didn't seem overly great, and £130 an arm for aftermarket, was the cheapest at the time.
Any one with experience of decent aftermarket lower arms, as they are both roughly the same price.
I will be fitting them, as most places seem to want around £6-800 supplied and fitted.
Thanks

Thanks Mikey.
That is my dilemma. Are the Meyle HD better?. I know the warranty is longer, silver line tools offer a lifetime warranty, just their life is incredibly short.
I have had my eye on the Meyle HD, but Ive no experience of them. MY12 RRS HSE

Been using them for 2.5 years now, not had an issue Thumbs Up

Rear bush is now a full year rubber bush, not oil filled as per the genuine arms, so they shouldn’t clunk anymore
Ball joints are the HD 35mm joints

In theory, they are a win-win when compared to genuine parts Thumbs Up

It should be noted, that my genuine bushes lasted 65k and 2 years...

My initial cheap lower arms on the old sc rrs were nackered in no time. The weight and power just shredded them.
Mikey you still have me sat on the fence. I fancy the meyler hd, but I know a few Indies who swear by the original. I can see the full advantage of solid bushes, should even help with handling.
If you say you have been using them for a while now I may just take the plunge ( I didn't want to buy a hyped inferior product, pushed by aload of false promises) MY12 RRS HSE

Dr Rob
I have been eyeing the AF kit for around £300 including bolts, and with the extra 5% off, it will get me a free set of anti roll bar bushes. MY12 RRS HSE

I used to use genuine, as they were on a trade offer at £80 each and a 2yr warranty, it was a no brainer

Now the prices have crept up and up over the years, they as less appealing

I'd be fitting Meyle HD to my own car, if it weren't for the Superpro set I have Thumbs Up

From AF?

I’ve got a slight knock starting, no noise but I can feel it at a very slow speed as I touch the brakes. I may do ARB bushes, lower arms and drop links all at the same time. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
