Version 18C is the latest version of Phase 4.

There have been several versions of Phase 4, as long as the dealers Pathfinder system is up to date then it will be 18C loaded on to your car.

Hi jimbg - I actually copied and pasted your extract for the service desk at the dealer and they still could not get LR Tech to confirm its existence.

My car is booked in for end of November so plenty of time for them to get their pathfinder updated.

I am getting annoyed already and i have not even spoken to my dealer. Why cant they just enable over air updates. The software supports it. Rant over  MY19 - HSE Dynamic. Black with black pack

I can confirm Car Play is up and working, I had my RRS in today for a software upgrade due to the usual Touch Pro niggles, I asked would car Play now be available but was told no this was another £150 as it was an enhancement to the car not a valid warranty upgrade.

However on getting the car back it’s in and working, not done much testing yet but all seems good the touchpro definitely seems much faster and more responsive and the Car Play looks great.

I’ve attached a couple of photos

Asked my dealer about 18c / ACP and this was their reply:


“18c was a trial update, there is talk of a new update 18d which is coming on model year 19.5 next year which will allow car play etc.

As your car is being built soon it won’t have the d upgrade, but it’s likely that this will come out in the new year as a download to allow those features.

Basically the current software doesn’t work reliably, which is the reason for the upgrade, I believe 19 model year cars have the same internals as 19.5 so its just a download.”

Not sure what to make of that.... apart from its a wait... but not too much longer... MY19 5.0SC Dynamic AB - Boss Grey, Black Pano Roof, 22” Gloss Black Alloys, Ebony/Ivory Massage Seats, Carbon Fibre Finishers, HUD, DTV and the all important Cabin Ionisation...

Just dropped my MY19 to have some software issues sorted and I was told that it is not available at the moment.
