Hi Everyone,

I have a 15MY RRS SDV8 (around 75K km) and have recently encountered a slight squeak (inside the cabin from the pedal area) when pressing the break pedal when putting the gear selector into D or R at the first time after start. It does this strange noise intermittently (not always) and only after leaving the car for a while, e.g. when parked during office hours and/or night. It does it once and never while driving. Has anyone experienced this thing already? My front discs and pads were changed a month ago and they said they did the proper procedure to let the air out from the system.

I took my previous Audi to the dealer and complained of a similar problem at this time of year.

After a lot of head scratching I realised it was caused by using damp shoes and the two rubber surfaces squeaking...slightly embarrassing!  MY16 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic

I had similar issue - it was the small micro switch which probably operates the brake lights - you can just see if with a torch if you get your head down there. WD40 solved it!
