If you have the vehicle VIN number you can look it up on ToPIX.

I have a 2011my range rover sport and it was on its original Hitachi compressor until last year.

L/R's parts system is a little vague but it looks like from Vin. No. BA708255 on had the AMK fitted, if you remove the plastic cover it is quite easy to tell as the AMK mounts totally different to the Hitachi which is why you need a new mounting brkt. as well, which is also part of the conversion kit if you buy the complete kit from L/R. I believe there may be a software update as well and also need to change the relay in the engine bay fuse box according to L/R.

Yeah, certainly looks like the Hitachi one to me.

Brilliant, cheers mate. I'm going to get a refurb kit for it today. Will hopefully resolve the issue of it going into extended mode when put into access. |

. Initially I think I would be inclined to check the height sensors first with that issue, have you any fault indicated on your 4x4 screen? only a suggestion but might just need calibrating.

I've looked at the 4x4 screen and paied attention to the white lines above the wheels and it all looks good.

To be fair I wouldn't know if you could do the calibration with the kit you have or not but I'm sure someone on here will know, you haven't by any chance had the suspension lowered as if they try to lower to much it can do the same thing.
