Fitting black bonnet letters

Is there any dimensions to fit the bonnet badges to my L494 ,as I am fitting them from scratch with no badges present..thanks

You get the templates to fit over existing letters so you get the positioning correct for replacements so I`m sure if you were careful and got it nice and central/straight that it would be ok...just a thought Thumbs Up Steve.

HI Steve yes got templates but no letters on bonnet , the templates are straight but the letters are curved

Hi Steve,you have the wrong templates,I got the black letters for mine with the correct templates for the L494,I’ll try find the link for you if not you can have these of mine as I don’t think I’ll be using them again.what you need to do is mark the centre of the bonnet & then place the templates on with tape,their is vids on YouTube to give you a idea.Probably best if you get another L494 at the side of yours when doing it to give you rough idea where they go.

But the OP is saying his bonnet doesn`t have any letters to start with so wants some dimensions to apply the template in the first place! Steve.
