Contact this breaker and see if the spoiler is still available. Genuine Range Rover and hopefully the same colour as your car saving on the cost of painting!!

Thanks for taking time out and finding this, really appreciate your help.

I've opted for a new 3rd party one. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (weirdo) like that, rather get a brand new one rather than one that is likely to be damaged when removed.

Hopefully it arrives by Tuesday, in the meantime trying to find someone in Solihull/Birmingham who can prime, paint and fit it.

The genuine rear spoiler from a 2005-2009 will not fit a 2010-2013 car, although physically similar shape the two outer rear mounting points are in a different position, in addition to the rear brake lamp as well, the only way to get it to fit is also change the rear tailgate/glass hinges from either model depending on if you are going late model to early or visa versa.

Had the Police around today. Apparently a number of cars were targeted in our area recently, maybe some Censored was trying to remove the spoiler, couldnt manage it but damaged it sufficiently for it to fly off the motorway Sad

Been quoted £150 to paint and fit. Is this reasonable?

With the water based products professionals must use now, it is the norm. Prior to water based paints, it would have been 1/2 that. I use 2pack but I’m not a pro so can legally buy and use it. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Having a complete and utter nightmare with this:

1. Got the Hawk spoiler primed and painted at cost of £150.
2. Fitted it and the hole for washer jet is out by 1 inch and camera hole is about the same and doesnt sit right. So although it works, it is misaligned.
3. Got the car home, camera didnt look right, I tried to align it and it disappeared in the spoiler somewhere.

DO NOT buy Hawke spoilers!!!!!

Having wasted £300. Now on the lookout for a genuine Range Rover Spoiler.

Kill. Me. Now.

Just out of curiosity, did you call them, or did you get a visit for leaving bits on the M40?

I think he had the Police around because there had been a number of thefts from RR in the the area so they were checking with all local owners. So he thinks the little s***s we’re half way through nicking his spoiler when they were disturbed at some point. And then whatever was left holding it on gave up on the M40. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
