Radio Head Unit Problem since change of battery

We’ve had a few problems with the RRS for a few months and we did the usual of change battery and break switch etc. The radio stopped working when the new battery went in. My husband was on phone with me through the RRS then it stopped working for radio and music once call finished.

You can turn dial and numbers go up and down and it still tells us 4 CD’s in the changer, it says Phone Mode on the lcd screen but you can’t change this to anything else.

I have been trying to pair phone and it finds it on Bluetooth but I have forgotten the code but at least I know it can be found!

Anyone had this problem after a new battery replaced? Or a similar problem? Before I look for a replacement just want to make sure this has definitely had it!

Good news after months and months of not using her as she still had all her warning lights on and a crunching noise from underneath, taken to garage and they just cleared all codes and reset and now all cleared and she drives sweet! Just need some tunes now! Lol! Very Happy

yeah its a funny one that.

I think you need to remove the radio fuse from behind the glovebox, for a few minutes and re-insert

Thank you Thumbs Up I’ve had a good read but all this talk of pulling fronts off and wires at the back goes over my head! I will stick with the fuse taking out and back in and leave the rest to my husband to try and work out! Lol!
