2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I had the surround cams as part of the Lux pack on both the Evoques I had............... I think I used them probably once or twice. For me they were a waste of money. I'm sure that there are folks ou there who couldn't live without them, but what I had had poor resolution cams and when I had damage to the rear of the car they cost the earth to have repaired. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I had the same, but the MY17 surround camera system is in a different league, far superior in every way, especially the 360 deg. aerial view.

Coming back to this for future reference for others..

The height of the tailgate open (in entry suspension mode) is approximately 2150mm and you only need around 500mm behind the car. So be careful in low and shallow garages!

Also I concur with Donny Dog, the surround camera system is very clear and the resolution on the MY17 is crisp. 6 months or so ago when I test drove a MY16, you could leave camera (the rear on the tester) when driving however the MY17 turns off after a fairly low speed. 2017 MY17 SDV6 SE

Agreed. I had them on my previous RR and did not use even once for a practical use...only ever to show people, 'look at these cool cameras!'.
However that my be down to my requirements, where I park on a regular basis and my regular routes used as others may require them on a frequent basis. Currently driving:
MY 2015 RRS SDV6 Dynamic Fuji White
Mini Cooper S

Gone:
MY13 RR Evoque Dynamic Black
MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE Luxury Baltic Blue

2012 BMW 320d Sport Arctic White
2009 Mazda RX8 R3 Grey
2005 BMW 523i SE Grey
