Pics would be good if you have time. I'm thinking about 45s next time. I currently have Uniroyal Rainsport 3s with 40 profile and with all the potholes around these days I think that extra 5 would be a good move. What make did you go for?
And another thing and with specific reference to davidfo- whilst the Uniroyals seem very good for grip in both wet and dry, after a while I had some issues with a slight wander (like a tracking problem). I have had repeated attempts at re-tracking and getting my indie to check the suspension for problems, without finding anything wrong. They have suggested that it is down to the Uniroyals. They did find a bit of uneven wear on the fronts (even though the tracking was fine) and when they were swapped front to rear the wander did reduce but its still there. So keep and eye on the wear on the front and let us know if you experience anything similar. Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 |

We had 45s fitted a couple of months ago and now that we have driven a few hundred miles the verdict is good (edited to add 'Falkens'):

After suffering the stiff ride, crashing pot holes, and oh too easily kerbed wheels.
