Turbo actuator may be sticking but get a code read done to be sure

Thanks for the advice, hopefully that's it, looks like i can do it myself avoiding the labour charges. Will be having a look tonight when i get home so will keep you posted.

Finally got her looked at, but was done while away so at this point only have the garage report so could do with some advice on whether what is detailed on the means "NEW TURBO" report is saying "turbo actuator fault logged in memory" checked vehicle on ramp and found turbo VNT mechanism seized, requires new turbo!

I am not saying that I have an issue with the garage, I just like to know if what the report is saying is the fact or there is another option such as turbo actuators or rods, before I stump up a couple of grand or more to have the turbo changed.

The actuators are known to stick so maybe yours is are they land rover specialist's or a normal garage as if not land rover they may just want to change it and not free it off maybe you need to ask the question or get more info off them

Local indy, i have had other makes previously where turbos have failed and this sport shows none of the characteristics of a failed turbo that i have seen before except for being down on power, even the engine light is no longer lit!!

I will be going back for more info later today, I suppose i have been lucky as this is the first major issue I have had with the LR/RR I have had in 22 years of owning them and with the cost of replacing the turbo I want to be sure that this is the issue and not the actuators or rods. 2023 D350 FIRST EDITION, SANTORINI WITH CLOUD/EBONY
