Leaky transmission on MY17/18 D5/RR/S

This may be of interest to owners of MY17/18 landys equipped with the ZF 8HP45 transmission.

Summary

Issue: Oil leaking between the automatic transmission and transfer case assemblies which in some instances is being misdiagnosed potentially leading to repeat repairs, for example leaks incorrectly being identified as coming from the rear transmission oil seal or oil pan. Oil weeps through the aluminium casing in the rear extension housing of the transmission in the base of the pocket around where the steel D clutch steel tube is embedded. Affected Vin Range

Spain 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Bali Blue

I have a 2015 L494 that is doing this, it looks the same as the one posted but not in teh service buliten, but it could be the same issue right?
