yours being a 2007, you should get a new oil pump (as they have a weak cambelt tensioner mount) and new cambelt at the same time.

Good idea to replace oil pump but don’t expect a dramatic improvement in oil pressure. Pumps produce flow rate, the condition of the engine, ie clearances, produce pressure. If your engine has low pressure that’s wear and tear. |

you know if the light is genuine or not, as you can hear and hydraulic lifters stop making a noise when the light goes out.
