Lowering links

Good evening All

Had my RRS three months now and the warranty has expired so fancy some mods. One is a set of lowering links, not a slam dunk just to take it down an inch or two. Seen a couple on the road and I am liking the look.

Open to advice on any other mods for a bored 51 year old with time on his hands......

thanks

Just buy an IID tool and lower it as you please and then you can also put it back when you want Thumbs Up

Bored with time on your hands............ try taking the Sport off-roading like it was designed to do and it won’t cost you anything and you won't need to lower it when you find out what it can do in unadulterated height modes. Also you get to see some great parts of the UK. To get a new key fob registered you have to get it one at dealer for security reasons.
With regards to driving around with lowered suspension just lock it in access height and try driving it at low speed and you will soon be wanting it at normal height it is so unpleasant to drive. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Yes you can reprogram keys with the IID and it is also awful when the car sits on the bump stops and you are driving it Thumbs Up

And here is a key that is a lot cheaper than what land rover supply you would need to program it and reprogram your other key at the same time but make sure if you do it.It is from a reputable seller

yeah spend £400.

You will need it eventually, may as well have it now. And they hold their money if you wish to sell it

The first time it pulls up a bunch of warning lights and errors, you'll be glad to have a iid tool. In a lot of cases you can reset it and carry on, mine has saved me from recovery on one occasion.

Tim - if only offroading didn't cost anything, I ripped a hole in the sidewall of a pair of tyres last week!
