Just buy an IID tool and lower it as you please and then you can also put it back when you want |

Will I be able to program a spare key with the IID tool? If so where can I get a cheap reliable key.

Yes you can reprogram keys with the IID and it is also awful when the car sits on the bump stops and you are driving it |

And here is a key that is a lot cheaper than what land rover supply you would need to program it and reprogram your other key at the same time but make sure if you do it.It is from a reputable seller

The first time it pulls up a bunch of warning lights and errors, you'll be glad to have a iid tool. In a lot of cases you can reset it and carry on, mine has saved me from recovery on one occasion.
