According to the article below SVO are planning a stripped out version of the SVR, not that keen on them stripping it out and putting a roll cage in it, kind of defeats the object of having the practicality of a Range Rover! However I'm very interested in the carbon Brakes coming out, can't see why they would need a new chassis just to fit Carbon Brakes though!

Are JLR planning a single model racing series possibly? Bit like the IPace has that supports Formula E race events? Yeah ok it can do thousands of miles flat out.... try driving it around in the real world on roads full of potholes and see how it gets on.. and do these roads from a cold start and listen to all the trim rattles.

They should give me a test car and test in properly, not in laboratory conditions.. 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!

Worthy of a whole new thread; CCB's on an SVR

I test drove a Porker Cayenne Turbo with Carbon brakes and they were awesome. The next day I took out an SVR for the first time. Everything on the SVR made me smile much more except the brakes. JLR definitely missed a trick.

Also had them on my V12 vantage but they were so necessary coz that car just scared the bejesus out of me every day. SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

Seems odd that they are not offered when your F Type Jaguar with a 2 litre petrol engine can have them as a standard option..... albeit at a huge extra cost of something like £10k. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They should be optional given the overall performance of the car and the weight...no brainier and was surprised when I ordered the car they weren’t offered. MY18 Range Rover Sport SVR (18' - current)

To be honest as its a LR and is very capable off road CCB would be all wrong as they could not handle excess water, mud or any sort of small stones all these things would ruin them straight away.

Great for those who never venture off the tarmac though.

Exactly. The SVR is more than just a very quick road car.
