If I hadn't seen it get built that would be exactly what I thought, when I saw it the only thing left to go (that could be different between cars) on was the wheels which I saw on parts bin ready to go...

It is showing as built on the LR system but the dealer can't call it over. If it was a QC issue they would expect to see it showing there.

What I was hoping for was to find anyone else that was delayed (excluding SVRs as they seam to go through a different process) then compare specs to see if we can find a common denominator.

Just because it's showing as built doesn't mean it's fully complete. They often build cars without full specification if they can. For example, there was a big delay with headlamps a while ago and they continued to build cars without and fit after. Additionally, software and firmware can play a part too - there are LOTS of issues at the moment.

Agree that makes sense, but again having seen the car and what was left to go on it I can't see anything that they could be waiting to add retrospectively?
Software issues does make sense but again they are still shipping cars with issues so that doesn't explain why it would be waiting either.
What I am trying to find out is if anyone else has had a build date slip a few weeks or if it just seams to be my car.

I'm gutted!

Apparently it's the rear seating but I just don't know how it could slip so long...

Jan...I ordered mine last April, order confirmed in December, Build completed in Feb and still sitting at SVO. Supposed to be delivered this week. Mate of Mine order in Jan, hes expecting June/July due to the issues with black wheels, black roofs etc etc Current

After i posted the above i got confirmation that it will be built by early June and ready at dealership 1 month later early July...my only gripe was when i ordered it in jan i was assured i would get it by May just didn't expect to have to wait 7 months...buying a new R8 and 911 Turbo S Cab in past never had to wait this long...anyway, its accepted and on its way is all that matters now MY18 Range Rover Sport SVR (18' - current)

I have had my order in since September last year with Velocity blue SVO colour.
I was due to pick the car up 1ST March but was informed it is in a quality hold two days before pick up.
It was built on 30th January and the dealer still can not give me a delivery date. Bloody frustrating.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red

I ordered Estoril Blue SVR beginning November for Feb delivery. Now told it should be coming end of May. I wondered if the dealer had sold my car at a premium elsewhere and re-ordered mine?
