If i do not use my Range Rover for a few days, it is very difficult to start. Sometimes it will go after several tries, or not, I have to call out the RAC. It seems to fire up for about 2 seconds then cuts out. Range Rover dealer hasn't a clue and they have had in the workshop 4 times now.

Also, when driving on a journey, the dashboard will light up and say it is restricted and slows down. I have to stop the car, switch off and then it will start OK and all the lights go off and I continue my journey. Again the dealer has't a clue.

Any sugestions

Which engine?
Might be better asking this question in the general section or technical for more replies,or try a search.
I use Barnwell Motor Eng,Tanner Drive,Blakelands,mk618518 for my servicing and repairs,might be worth talking to them?

This is my first post.. I have been reading a lot of the threads over the last few weeks in preparation for buying a RRS.
Yesterday I sold my MINi Cooper and am now seriously looking for one.

My budget is about £10k. I have looked at a few local cars (Oxford) but they have been a bit rubbish to drive with clonking suspension. I hope I can expect better than this within my budget but let’s see what happens..

Engine wise, I am not fussy. Petrol or diesel. V6 or V8.. as long as the car is well looked after and nice to drive...

I am sure I will be on here with a few questions and generally joining in..

Have just placed an order for a new RRS P400e HSE Dynamic and ticked just about every option box as this is the last car I'm planning to buy before retirement.

Just the 20-28 weeks to wait now!

I'm looking to buy a 2006 RRS with 125000 miles on a petrol engine and it's been converted to LPG. Really like the motor and iv always wanted one.. It's up for the right price but I don't know anything about RRS and LPG. Looking for good thoughts or a decent steer onto a site that could give me some info on the matter.

Hi all, Bought my RRS back in December, was looking for a vogue but loved the look of this.

Mods & repairs so far have been LR RR puddle lamps to all 4 doors, Led interior light upgrade, Standard piano black door inserts to the Autobiography ones, Rear reflectors to LED Side and brake light reflectors, New door card to passenger side (speaker grille cracked, Drivers seat base replaced due to split in side of seat, Sunvisor (flap which opens to switch on lights was missing) In the process of wiring in tow bar electrics but have hit a wall, mine doesn't have the three connectors in boot behind trim panel (further investigation ongoing) Oh and the rrsport.co.uk sticker has been ordered Every RR i have owned has been a labour of love and there was me thinking a 2012 would be less bother
