My 2007 2.7 TDV6 came with 22" aftermarket rims. I managed to get hold of a set of 20" 7 spoke genuine Land Rover rims fitted with GG AT 275 x 45 x 20" tyres. I have resprayed and lacquered them and fitted new centres and tried to fit them yesterday but found that the wheel nuts wouldn't fit. This morning, I did a 40 mile trip to get some new ones and got down to fitting them - won't fit!!! Diameter clears the brembos but the back of the mounting face doesn't seat against the hub as the back of the spoke hits the brembos! The details on the back of the new rims are EH2 IS58 which I assume is 58 mm offset,
8.1/2J x 20, RRC503050XXX, LRO2 925Kg.
Is the solution as simple as fitting wheel spacers? If so, what size and will it affect geometry etc?

Did not think the tdv6 hse came with brembo's as standard but may be wrong do the back wheels fit ok or is it just the front that you are having the trouble with

Not got round to trying rears. From a little bit more investigation, it seems that in order for the back of rim to clear caliper (with the mounting face of rim tight up to hub mounting face) it would need approx' 14mm spacer on each side. But, this would then lose the 72mm ish diameter hub mounting flange! Or, does the new spacer have a 72mm flange to mount wheel on?

If i got 20mm spacers to be on safe side, would i have to put on rears too? (i expect so) and will i need to get suspension aligned/geometry checked or is the extra 40mm width negligible?

Just a couple more questions re spacers!
Would the 20mm wide spacer just fit on hub mounting face, then wheel mounted and original flanged wheel bolt fitted (would original stud be long enough?)
Or, would extended studs have to be fitted and cut down to length.
Or, wound spacers have to have mounted on existing wheel studs and clamped with new short nuts, then wheel mounted in new studs pressed into spacer?

Not that it matters as the wheel P.C.D are all the same, but just as a point of interest possibly, that particular rim was only ever fitted to the 2002-2009 Fullfat R/R.
