serious questions only please about chipping !

been reading through all the posts about chipped diesel rrs and you all come to the same conclusion that a chipped car is better , talked to my dealer about it and there is no problem with the warranty Wink but ssshhhh keep it quiet

the question is who is best Question

again you all seem to have differing opinions Shocked

if mdp was cut in half you would find je engineering written through the middle like a stick of blackpool cock Shocked
obviously the site sponsers are biased too Shocked
so a simple question ?

who would the majoity of you go for ?
and can i get a HUGE discount Wink as i only have a paper round to support me and the 10 kids an ex wife and a girlfriend with big boobies Crying or Very sad ooh and the rrs

ps first one to hijack this thread will be subject to castration with 2 bricks Whistle

I think the general feeling is there is not much to choose between the 2 'big boys' JE and Turbochip.

There and no mention of BOOBIES Wink

due to my location think that would rule je engineering out
so looks like it could be turbochip which my dealer recomended

JE have dealt with Land Rover products for years. I have had a number of vehicles up-graded by them. For what is worth I would recommend them. Not had dealings with other tuning companies so I cant comment. Hope this helps. Wink

Realising this is a UK thread on ECU upgrades - for those of us living on the dark side, I'd recommend Rica Tuning out of the Netherlands. They upgraded my XC90 and I've never had a problem. Runs beautifully. I have contacted them and they have a programme for the RRS/Disco 3 TDV6 with a realistic 230 bhp promised - but no dealer in Belgium, so I'd have to go to Holland for it. They also promise to re-map the ECU if LR issue a call for a re-map of their software which overwrites the Rica map.

But my wife has made me formally swear that I would not chip tune "her" car.

I have a dark tale about an unfortunate and expensive attempt to chip tune her old Saab 9,5 through a UK based outfit...but the settlement does not allow me to discuss it on automotive forums Evil or Very Mad

Did someone mention boobies? Rolling Eyes 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge
