been reading through all the posts about chipped diesel rrs and you all come to the same conclusion that a chipped car is better , talked to my dealer about it and there is no problem with the warranty but ssshhhh keep it quiet

due to my location think that would rule je engineering out so looks like it could be turbochip which my dealer recomended and can you recomend any good boobies cliff ? |

If i was gonna get my RRS chipped i would go to JE without even thinking about it and they are very nice had a chat with them on the phone and i must say they are very helpful RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Do a search for RRS header. Last page half way down, I think you will agree they are what you are looking for

yep i know their reputation cliff but fortunately never had any problems with them in the past and i will only deal with one sales guy there ! have done for years |

yep way ahead of you cliff my sales guy did recomend tc but advised to go directly not through them unless i wanted to pay an arm and a leg |

JE have dealt with Land Rover products for years. I have had a number of vehicles up-graded by them. For what is worth I would recommend them. Not had dealings with other tuning companies so I cant comment. Hope this helps. |

Realising this is a UK thread on ECU upgrades - for those of us living on the dark side, I'd recommend Rica Tuning out of the Netherlands. They upgraded my XC90 and I've never had a problem. Runs beautifully. I have contacted them and they have a programme for the RRS/Disco 3 TDV6 with a realistic 230 bhp promised - but no dealer in Belgium, so I'd have to go to Holland for it. They also promise to re-map the ECU if LR issue a call for a re-map of their software which overwrites the Rica map.
