TDV8 Suspension arms

Got worn suspension bushes (front) on my 2008 TDV8, it seems from what I have read that the way to do it is replace the suspension arms.
Can anyone recommend OEM arms or should I stick with genuine.
Has anyone out there have experience with non genuine units.
I am assuming this job can be done on axle stands, I have also read that the bolts will prob need cutting out.
thanks in advance.

When I did mine I changed the bushes as the arms where fine and the ball joints ok. Also make sure you mark the bolts before undoing/removing so you can put everything back in the same place. With using your old arms you don't need the 4 wheel alinement after because your fitting everything back as it was. A quick way to tell is if the steering wheel is as it was.
Done a few D3's like this have always kept a check on the tyre wear and pulling over never had a problem. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

If you have the facilities, changing the bushes yourself is cheaper

If you are paying labour to replace them, it's likely cheaper to replace the complete arms Thumbs Up

Sure iv read on the D3 site about sus monts cracking and breaking away from the chassis after fitting prolly bushes as to harsh and all the shock going into the chassis. Personally I would fit and indeed have fitted gen bushes on mine and a few D3s 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Interesting, mine has fairly crashy ride and the front wishbones have been polybushed. How much are genuine bushes?

Polys are not nice. Had the local motor factor in trying to sell me some this morning

Until I pulled out the boxes of Superpro bushes Laughing

Bushes aren't that bad, to be honest.:
https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/front-lo...-141-c.asp 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Cheers! I think I'll swap those over at some point, see if it helps.
