Peachy, Thanks for the use of your pic. It all came about by chance. I was asking about fitting a Ctek connector under the bonnet, protruding out the grille & got a reply from Col as he had done it protruding out the back of the bonnet. I had a look at his gallery pictures to see if he had one, it was there I saw a parts diagram of the buffer (which I have been looking for for a few days with no success). When I clicked on to it I saw it had come from you, so searched your name & posts & found the picture (I should have been a detective )

No problem - it appears they are partly glued & located into a hole in the fender ( the part comes with a piece that protrudes ) the part may have a small glued piece that is covered by tape & removed for fitting purposes - if that makes sense.

Peachy, Ref Ctek, I also use the croc clips, but as the car isn't used much (6000 miles in 3 years) I was wanting to use the traffic light connector & have it sitting unobtrusively in the grille, then I will just plug in ctek when required without having to lift the bonnet. The ctek will be shared between the Sport & my F type Jag convertible which is used even less & is in hibernation till a sunny day in the spring . At least in the Jag it plugs onto a fag lighter socket in the boot (which has a permanent feed) with the long cable coming out of the boot lid & under the cover |

Parts arrived this morning. Thanks Dan for the fast despatch. Looks like an easy fit, one locating pin & some double sided tape. |

Prior to Vin. EA324041 they were a different part numbers, but they has been superseded to the same numbers as the current one's, there may have been a difference with in the earlier part though. Does the extra length not just fit up under the piece of plastic windscreen scuttle out of the way or are you referring to the piece which goes towards the outer edge of the wing ?.

Crisis over Plastic end covers have to be removed then they fit in. My fault, when I first looked at them they did not appear to have a bit that fits under the plastic covers |
