I find tow bar electrics is the easiest way to connect and charge |

Unfortunately, my tow bar electrics are only 5 pin, not the 7 pin on younger models Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4 |

5 pin.? Never seen those,they are either 7 pin or 13 pin.

Can use some 7pin as long as its not the one with black flap on it. Have a look in the forum shop as there is more info regarding 7 pin charging |

MXS7 or MXS10 they have the advantage of having a separate 12 volt power supply should you need it to retain memory on a vehicle etc.

I have 3 C-Tek MXS-5 units and I find the mode switch becomes unresponsive after a while from new. They work but the mode switch does not seem to change the setting until it has been pressed a few times. The issue is the same for all 3 units I have. When they are new they responded instantly. I would go for the MXS-7 as I find the MXS-5 a bit undersized for the RRS battery. |
