2005 cars just need the EGR blanking plates, no need for an ECU patch |

Thanks Oldandconfused do remember reading something abut that which is why I'm going for a well cared for older model. Went down to see it in the flesh today it's immaculate for it's age engine nice and quiet gearbox as smooth as silk. the dealer said he will do the following full service, genuine cam belts both, new oil pump I gave him AFs details, water pump, new disks and pads all round plus anything found on the inspection I'm having done and 12 months MOT. If it ain't broken down it soon will

You're welcome (I know because I had my 2005 D3 blanked ). The only other thing I would consider would be to give the only other owner a bell if you can (details will be on the V5) as he/she may be able to tell you a bit more about the car, especially in relation to any fails/advisories re previous MOT's as per the Gov website. |

Couldn't resist so went back for another look drove it down the M65 70mph what a car just hummed along, and the command shift will be really handy for when I've got the 2.2 ton caravan on the back and I have to downshift on a hill. flacks been busy this week so it'll be next week I hope before he can check it over for me plus I've got the TD5 to sell the part ex I was offered was so politely declined. If it ain't broken down it soon will
