Yeah obviously mate but we aren't fitting the tracker so that we want the car back... it's because it might be the only way for us to not lose our money. |

My wife's D4 has Trackstar, so a tip from me: don't do any journeys you wouldn't want the primary user to find out about - like looking at buying a boat . |

Thanks - fully agree with you. But would you say its fair to get the tracker fitted AND do all those things that you said, just because the tracker is a requirement for most insurers? It seems thats what im gonna have to do. |

If the car is a new (as in 2017/2018MY) then surely it comes with a factory fitted tracker system like my 2015MY did? So what you need is something to beef it up. The LR system also links to a smartphone app where you can see all your journies logged, whether you closed the windows or didn’t lock it and a few other things. The system subscription works for the 1st 3 years. I would think the Ghost would cover everything else and the Disk-loc (I have a Stop-loc instead) covers the visual slow them down device 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Whether it comes with a tracker or not, it needs to be thatcham cat 5+ in order to satisfy insurers.

OK, understood. My insurers don’t require anything over and above what LR fits - Land Rover Insurance, but then I live out in the wilds of Central Scotland not in a metropolis with thieves all round. Even after an arrempt to steal my FFRR from my drive the insurers still didn’t want a Tracker fitted. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
