I have a 2007 range rover sport which needs the pipes replacing that run into the ace filter block. My question is can this be done without taking the body off? I've taken a picture which hopefully is clear.

Cheers mate! Called a garage and was quoted £1800 plus VAT as body needed taking off. 2nd garage said it didn't need taking off and was 5 hours work.

I'm just getting more releived at the fact it can be done with removing the body mate.

Taking the body off isn't a big issue. The vehicle is designed to have it done and doing it can make jobs easier and thus quicker. Also better access means a better job is more likely. Compared to the price of many LR parts these days, the cost of body on and off isn't that big. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

8 of the since September, another 2 imminently, and and a further 2 in Jan

Anyway, I think book time is 5.5 hours to remove + refit the body. Allow an extra couple of hours to deal with the inevitable rusty/seized fixings. Not the end of the world
