Had it confirmed today it’s the amplifier that has gone
Can anyone let me know how to check model without removing the amp to look at label
Are they colour coded on the top ie mine is silver and I’ve seen some black ones on eBay
My iid tool just say aud2c fitted
What would be recommended a new or used amp as big price difference ie used about £200 and new around £700 or can they be repaired
When fitting a new amp do they need to be coded to the car

Try mmj on here they are breakers who sponsor this site go for second hand from them if they have one or another breaker unless you have a wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket is it logik 7 or just normal Harmon Kardon

You should be able just to buy one and change it over but to be sure if its not working take it out and check the number to be sure but i am pretty sure they are all the same as long as its just Harmon Kardon

There not hard to get out but make sure the people on ebay accept returns mmj are on there as well

Amp arrived today fitted but not working fault code now is

U2003-31 (2B) Fibre optic communication bus - Frequency modulation/pulse width modulation failure - no signal

When I plug live feed into amp ther is red light from where the fibre optic lead plugs in but goes out after about 30 seconds
I have checked the Bluetooth module but no red light coming from cable
The fibre optic cable that plugs into the amp has red light all the time
Any help would be appreciated

I spoke to rangerover dealer today they told me amplifiers are coded to the car so second hand amp won’t work in my car
Can anyone confirm this or has anyone fitted a secondhand amp in there car

Second amp arrived today same problem fibre optic failure
Done a bit of searching on net some links to TMC so I connected my fibre optic lik cable to this and now stereo working
I have to get new test lamp to see if power going to TMC
If no power can I link a cable from a red wire that connects to Bluetooth module

It may be the tmc part itself unless the fuse is blown then there should be power there unless you are unlucky enough to have a break in the wire

Just tested power lead all ok so unit needs replacing
