Got to be done Mikey, the only thing is I fear it's becoming victim to its own success, I heard of fights breaking out this year between drivers on Applecross when neither would give way to each other and it wasn't an isolated case. |

Yes, have also heard similar. And also discontent from business owners who are very near to the NC route, who feel they are missing out...

And we have simply fantastic driving roads that at this time of year are almost caravan and tour coach free......... although for the next 2 weeks I would void the A82 from Tarbert to Crianlarich up the west side of Loch Lomond as it is closed for repairs, but the A84 alternative route from Stirling to Crianlarich road is pretty spectacular too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My daughter moved to Aberdeenshire a few years ago and I've driven up there a couple of times including last Christmas. I'm not so enamored with the East side roads, but they are, never-the-less, amazingly clear compared to my neck of the woods. And when they finish messing about with the A90 it will be much better. Just so you know for when you next come up, there are now average speed cameras all the way from Dundee to Aberdeen on the A90, went live last week. |
