Well the wife has had a couple of Shoguns and I've found myself driving her car more and more than mine, just something about it appealed to me, so thought It was about time I got myself a 4x4, there was only ever one choice for me and it had to be a RR sport, so after a short search I found Tango, I've said it before it’s not a colour that appeals to everyone but I've done all the traditional colours with all my previous cars so we both thought It was time for something a little different, when we both saw Tango we knew that this was the one for us. Well the deal was done and we picked Tango up a couple of weekends ago, so far we both love it. I've already done more miles over the last couple of weeks than I've done in one of my cars in the last year. We've got a trip to wales and then touring the lake district planned for when I'm next home so will see how we go on then. Any way here's a few pictures.

I think its just my picture that doesn't show it very well but the colour is Vesuvius, though this wasn't the original colour, the car has had a bit of a conversion carried out by "Bespoke". I'm not sure if this was one of their demonstrators or at some point someone has spent a quite a lot of money on the conversion, which also includes the replacement of the interior, it all seems to have been carried out to an exceptional standard. |

Quick update on Tango, last time I was home we spent four days touring Wales followed by four days in the lake district and I must say I absolutely love this car, so easy to drive and no matter how long I spent behind the wheel I never once got out with any sort of ache or pain that I seem to get in all the other cars. I was also quite surprised on how quick they can accelerate when you put your foot to the floor , Anyway think we did just short of a thousand miles and averaged 31.5 mpg. Happy with that.

Thought I would add a few more pictures of our recent trip, we normal go to Skye for a few days but this time decided to cover the West coast leg of the NC500, in total we were away for three days and covered 604 miles with an average speed of 40mph and averaged 33.3 mpg. If truth be told three days wasn't really enough to try and see everything but that gives us an excuse to go back next year. The good thing about doing the West coast at this time of year there was very little traffic, there's no midges to worry about and the autum colours are fantastic. I don't think I would have fancied driving round Applecross in the summer as the loop is about 50 miles and it's all single track, I think we only saw about a dozen other cars all day.
