SVR Carbon bonnet

What are peoples thoughts on the visible Carbon bonnet on the new SVR, would people spec it?

My view is that it's overly vulgar; a monstrosity of the kind most often seen on 'modified' Vauxhall hatchbacks.

However, each to their own. 2017 SDV6 Autobiography; Carpathian Grey, Ivory, Soft Close, Extended Grand Black.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Santorini Black

Just putting my flame suit on......

I like it. Appreciate it is more footballers car park than grouse moor, but in the right spec and colour combo it would look good.

You wouldn't want a pheasant to land on it though...... 2016 RRS Autobiography - 4.4 TDV8 - Santorini Black with Ivory Leather - Grey Alloys - A few toys

A pheasant, or any well-reared bird, wouldn't be seen dead on that bonnet! 2017 SDV6 Autobiography; Carpathian Grey, Ivory, Soft Close, Extended Grand Black.

I ve specced it. Carbon on black, quite subtle tbh.

Wouldnt do it on any other colour.

I can see why people might not like it though.

I reserve the right to hate it and rue my decision though 😂 2019 Svr and 2019 R35 GTR

Carbon on black is OK.

Wouldn't have it with any other colour

At first i thought yes i like it but then it started to remind me of Kahn and then it put me right off so its a no from me.

Also i think both carbon kits are expensive and will be cheaper to add individually at a latter stage i.e from someone like Urban.
So i will not be ordering either of them but will be adding the interior Carbon.

Love the bonnet scoops though. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Cannot see the point of any carbon fibre on a 2.4t SUV, no matter how fast it is it ain’t no F1 racing car where I can see the point for weight saving and rigidity. Fine on a Corsa VSR, Twingo GTI or BMW 318 dressed to look like an M3, wasted on an RRS SVR. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

A 99% no from me but I guess it needs to be seen in the flesh.

A definite NO from me, it just isn't needed on a car of this marque, just for the boy racers and people with more money than sense. Adds nothing. John

As Jas has said and as RR has seen it might look great when you see it live.

So will wait and see! SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.
