Hi. I have been looking at side steps for my RRS found these on ebay are they any good or are they rubbish, has anyone any advice http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-OEM-Spec-Sid...rksid=p206 |

Can't comment on that model which is very cheap around £500+ less than genuine.

Thank you Johnski, and Tyrefitter do you mean the ones I linked to have the plastic covers, I don't mind spending a a bit more if you could tell me which ones as I do not know very much about them |

Hi Murphy,,the ones you have linked have the plastic sill covers pre-cut which are easy to fit,,you can buy some without them & cut your own but its a nightmare marking them out & it takes 3 times aslong to fit.

I bought a set of steps from them guys quality finish is great look identical to genuine,

I bought a set off eBay for around the £160 mark. Easy to fit and good enough for me

When I did mine I actually changed the bolts for stainless steel one's as well as copper slip. Cheers Col |

I purchased a set of side steps off eBay and I was very pleased with the quality. Fitting is a relatively easy DIY job just put the suspension to its highest setting and there is enough ground clearance to fit the steps without jacking up the car. I too put plenty of grease on the bolts and some corrosion protection on the brackets.

Ive just ordered a set for mine £137.50 by the time Ive claimed the dreaded vat back,,I’ll let you know how the quality is & how easy to fit as I’ll be fitting them probably Friday..But I have got ramps & lift to make it easier.
